Sugar Beet is one of our favorite restaurants - ever. The ambiance is perfect for a special occasion or just a Saturday night dinner with friends. The fresh made daily sourdough bread is the best you will have - served with soft butter before your meal and perfect with the daily selection of oysters. The pork chop is my favorite and my husband loves the rotating fish dishes. The servers and bartenders (here's looking at you Jessica and Devon) provide excellent service!! All staff are passionate and knowledgeable about the food and wine menus. Ari (the owner) has done a fantastic job of curating fine food and great people to create a great experience.

This place is fantastic. Really nice ambiance and decor. We tried it for restaurant week in Longmont on a whim and glad we found it Pricing is very reasonable and the entrees are well proportioned The service is really something you don't always see. Everyone was delightful and pleasant and worked nicely together. Devin at the bar is knowledgeable and made some interesting drinks Our group had the steak, the pork chop and the Artic Char - all were delicious and had a very fancy presentation to the plate The best was the desert. The apple tart is probably the best desert I've had in ages. They make their own caramel ice cream and the tart was doughy and puffy. The whole apple was baked and carved up nicely There was a good after dinner port menu as well. I highly recommend you try this place

We just had our second visit to Sugarbeet because we were so impressed the first time, we invited friends along for the next round. We got bread that is some of the best bread I've ever eaten and I had my first experience eating oysters (which in CO eating seafood is just a bit nerve wracking) but I was most pleasantly surprised and I would eat them again!! They also went well with my drink the Pear Martini. I ordered the rack of lamb - superb! It was amazing! Melts in your mouth and is savory and just a celebration of flavor! My husband got the filet mignon and it was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and an ample portion. The accompaniments were earthy and good. The service is some of the best you will find in the metro area - super friendly and spot on! This restaurant is a hidden gem, a treasure and a bit of a surprise. Don't miss this wonderful dining experience.

This place came recommended and I'm passing this recommendation on. We shared the beet salad with goat panna cotta and New England clam chowder. The salad was excellent and I could have eaten a bowl of the beets. Chowder had good texture but there was a heat kick to it which I wasn't a fan of. Dinner for me was tuna seared perfectly with green beans and rice. The rice had kimchi in it which again wasn't a fan of that. Husband had the pork special with butternut squash and it was excellent. Dessert was a deconstructed apple tart and was excellent. Service was impeccable Highly recommend if you are looking for a great dining experience Not a large seating capacity so recommend a reservation. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our table was in the front of the restaurant which didn't have as many people. Would like to try the back seating area next. Our wait staff was excellent t. Attentive but not intrusive.

Great food in a nice atmosphere. And locals must know about it, because the restaurant was full on a Tuesday night, lucky I had a reservation. My friends and I all loved our food, and we had a very pleasant dinner!
